New in this release:

• The ability to test different backup parameters such as compression level, encryption, backup locations and tuning capabilities with the new Backup Analyzer
• Log Shipping Management that allows you to easily configure and monitor both LiteSpeed and native log shipping plans. The ability to visually monitor log shipping includes all relevant latency alerting and allows you to easily add and remove subscribers on demand.
• LiteSpeed Maintenance Plans provides the ability to craft maintenance plans with all the options of the native tool plus the power of LiteSpeed regardless of how simple or complex the plans
• Log Reader gives visibility into both the online transaction log and transaction log backups (native and LiteSpeed) as well as the power to redo, undo, search and view transaction details
• Database Categorization to categorize databases to your exact requirements (PROD, DEV, TEST), assign multiple categories (Location, Application) and choose your desired view
• Management of all backup and recovery operations within a new central UI
